Our Consulting Team
Unlike most other CPA firms, valuation and litigation support services are a primary focus at Canna Valuation, LLC & Seigneur Gustafson, LLP, with four full-time professionals dedicated to this area of our practice, including nationally recognized consultant Ron Seigneur and Brenda Clarke. Such constancy is vital, because frequent changes in statutes and regulations can markedly affect our outcome and mean millions of dollars.
Ron Seigneur is a recognized leader, educator, and innovator in the valuation field. He lectures frequently on valuation, litigation, and financial analysis issues to other valuation professionals and attorneys. Ron is also nationally recognized for his consulting expertise with law firms and attorneys, subsequent to a 7 year stint as a legal administrator and Chief Financial Officer for a 50 attorney Denver law firm.
The SG Team is also involved in complex litigation services, specializing in the calculation of economic damages in a broad range of personal and complex corporate disputes. We provide acquisition/ divestiture support to closely held businesses and expert witness services.
The experts at SG have held key positions in local and national appraisal organizations, and currently participate in these professional organizations: American Society of Appraisers, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, CLE of Colorado, the Law Education Institute, the Expert Resource Connection, the College of Law Practice Management, and the Financial Consulting Group.
